Charlotte turned 250 years old on December 3rd and has a rich local history. The Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room is the historical and genealogical research hub for Charlotte and surrounding areas. If you want historical or genealogical information, this is the place to come. In this episode of “Meet Me at the Library,” we’ll be talking about accessing resources available through the Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room, also known as the Carolina Room.

Read Charlotte: The focus of today’s episode is some of the efforts the library and its Community Partner, Read Charlotte, are making in the area of literacy. We’ll be talking about Read Charlotte and programming that allows the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library system to serve the community in branches and through outreach with a focus on increased reading skills.
