In this Under the Covers episode, in honor of Valentine’s Day, we meet Sophia Henry, author of the romantic suspense duet, “Saints” and “Sinners,” because Sophia was taken with what Oscar Wilde said: “Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future.” Sophia is also the author of the “Material Girls” romance series and a number of sports romance books.
Sophia’s first five romance books were published by Penguin Random House, but she decided to go the Indie route, and has been very happy and successful with that decision. Her book, “Saints,” which is featured on the show, is set in Moscow in 1989, where food shelves are empty, the streets are lawless and the price of protection is high. Here, she combines romance with history and suspense.
