Explore Color
Use droppers, colored water, and a coffee filter or a paper towel to explore how different amounts of color (more or less) and water affect the sizes and color saturation of the drops.
Let’s Draw!
Take two pieces of paper and use crayons, paint or any drawing tool to show your child what it means to make a drawing with more marks and a drawing with less marks.
Weigh Away!
Using a kitchen scale or a bathroom scale, weigh various items around the house. While you are doing this, ask your child “Which item do you think weighs more? Less? Why do you say that?”
Does this need more or less?
When you are cooking or baking with your child, carefully measure the ingredients with them. For instance, if you are making cookies, you can talk about how cookies need more sugar than salt because they are sweet.

Explore Colores
Use goteros y agua con colorante de comida y coloque varias gotas de color sobre filtros de café. Observe cómo las diferentes cantidades de agua y color saturan el papel de manera diferente.
