Naturalization and Legal

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Field Office in Charlotte serves Charlotte Mecklenburg County as well as two other surrounding counties. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library partners with this organization, as well as a variety of legal organizations, to offer Naturalization Information sessions. Resettlement Communities

The Charlotte area has a wide array of organizations dedicated to building communities during the process of resettlement. The Latin American Coalition, International House, Galilee Center are just a few of the incredible opportunities to get help or meet those who can share your life experience as a refugee, immigrant and/or first-born generation. World Languages

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library hosts many English as a Second Language (ESL) programs in addition to ongoing conversation clubs. The library also offers free access to Transparent Language.
