Teen Programs

While the Library is in a phased reopening, we are hard at work getting many of our programs, resources, and services for teens available online for you to access at home! Browse below for our current offerings and check back regularly for updates.

My Next Step for Teens

What are you doing after high school? Get personalized info and resources for your next step by completing this short form. Whether you know your path, or you’re still figuring things out, we’re here to help guide you. Library staff will help connect you with the resources you need to succeed. We can email you, or you can meet with us on Zoom – whatever works best for you!

Digital Escape Rooms

Use multiple critical thinking skills to solve puzzles and codes in an interactive digital escape room. See if your observations and problem-solving skills will help you make it out successfully!  Try it by yourself, or test out your ability to work as a team with friends or family.

Virtual Volunteering

Looking to earn virtual community service hours while our in-person VolunTeen program is on pause for safety reasons? Explore your options below!

CMLibrary Teens on Instagram

CMLibrary Teens just went live on Instagram, so be sure to follow us @cmlibraryteens and be a part of the conversation! Library staff go live on Instagram once a week with maker projects, career conversations, and more. Come as you are, stay connected, and have your voice heard! Check out our online calendar to see what’s coming up next.

College Exploration Podcasts

As part of our College and Career Connections initiative, we are interviewing students from local colleges, universities, and technical schools to help teens learn more about their options. All opinions expressed by interviewees are solely their current opinions and do not reflect the opinions of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. Take a listen to these short, fun and engaging podcasts to help you on your journey!
