The Equity Impact Circle (EIC) cohort that met during Community Read 2021 were encouraged to provide a safe space for dialogue around the topics of equity and inclusion in hopes of building a more connected community that utilizes an equity lens to explore community identity and issues. This, in part, led to the Human Together podcast, which is based loosely on the Human Library concept.

Human Together is a collaboration between the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library (CML) and the Community Building Initiative (CBI). An off-shoot of the Community Read program, we created this podcast to help our community to get to know each other, one individual at a time. We invite you to virtually connect with your neighbors through these engaging and informative episodes.
