The collaborative is supported by funding from Knight Foundation through the Solutions Journalism Network based in New York City. The collaborative is publishing news content and providing resources on affordable housing. The goal of this effort is to provide an essential addition to the media landscape in the Charlotte region that will grow to include other media organizations and become self-sustaining.
