Strategic Framework Released

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Housing & Homelessness Strategy

Launched in April 2021, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing & Homelessness Strategy (CMHHS) is the first comprehensive effort to address housing instability and homelessness in our community involving the public, private and non-profit sectors.

The first part of the comprehensive strategy was released this week and contains a high-level overview of recommendations across nine areas: prevention, shelter, affordable housing, cross-sector supports, policy, funding data, communications and long-term strategy.

The North Carolina Housing Coalition’s membership is comprised of organizations and individuals from across the state who make the creation and preservation of affordable housing their mission.
